Yunnan. Tea, Tribes and Wild Encounters. Day 2

After your breakfast with a view - remember the dinner at your hotel yesterday - we will head off to see the wild elephants in their home here. We have to go very rural for some hours by our offroader and arrive at lunchtime. In the afternoon we give the elephant families the first chance to meet us. We go with our local guide for paddling on a small river and try to find them at their usual bathroom. Please keep in mind: This time we will enter their home, leaving our own habitat. The elephants know that we are are there. But they decide on their own, if they want to show up or better stay hidden in the forest. There is a one out of two chance to see them. In the evening we ask the locals to prepare traditional food for us.
